Glick, and V.P. “Uncle” Steve Stoltzfus, the partners have created Reifen Rubber Company. “Reifen” German for tire, was incorporated to manufacture rubber pavers (think concrete pavers, but soft) from recycled tires, a major disposal problem for the world. Moses Glick, who initiated the idea, said he first thought about recycling as a small boy, when he saw mountains of tires from automobiles (something his family did not use) and wondered what could be done to alleviate the waste. Hence, the Reifen Rubber Company was born. The company makes rubber pavers for use in Agribusiness, Residential, Municipalities, and Commercial uses. These rubber pavers are stronger than concrete pavers, slip resistant, fire retardant, soft (they pass Federal impact / fall tests for children's playgrounds AND the American Disabilities Act), environmentally safe, and virtually indestructible. The company offers a limited lifetime warranty. Some of the installations have been equestrian, walkways, pool decks, retirement homes, farms, jog trails, day care, arenas, exercise rooms, hot tubs, weight rooms, breeding stalls, handicap areas, and water parks.
